Memos from Howard Marks: Is it a Bubble?LONDON — February 10, 2026 — Brookfield today announced expanded availability of Oaktree’s Global Credit strategy through the Oaktree Global Credit Select Fund (the “Fund”), a UCITS vehicle available to institutional and private wealth investors in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. The UCITS structure is intended to address demand in these regions for regulated, daily-liquidity investment solutions and further broadens Brookfield and Oaktree’s global range of diversified credit offerings.
Launched in 2017, Oaktree’s Global Credit strategy currently manages approximately $20bn in assets. The strategy seeks to generate attractive income and total return allocating across Oaktree’s global credit platform, including high yield bonds, structured credit, emerging markets debt and convertibles. Oaktree’s investment approach emphasizes value and risk management, adapting to market cycles while focusing on mitigating downside risk. The strategy is supported by Oaktree’s three decades of credit investing experience, one of the industry’s largest global credit research platforms, and more than 155 dedicated credit professionals.
David Rosenberg, Head of Liquid Performing Credit and Co-Portfolio Manager, said: “Institutional and private wealth investor demand for multi-asset credit solutions in a UCITS format has continued to grow across the globe. The Fund provides a familiar and accessible structure while allowing investors to access Oaktree’s global credit platform, deep research capabilities and focus on risk management.”.
